Upcoming Patch v0.8.0 - Exciting new changes


There's going to be big update, so here's the upcoming changes.

New Features and Changes (subject to changes, will be updated in our Discord):

  • Villagers and Mercenaries can no longer be hired from the Merchant.
  • 1 to 5 Villagers based on town status will automatically come out  from the wagon at the marketplace if there are spare Beds. 
  • Honor can be spent to recruit Mercenaries immediately at your character.
  • Upgrading Villagers to Mercenaries will cost 2000 gold coins with a 500 gold coins upkeep. They will not be able to do villager tasks after that.
  • Mercenaries HP changed from 500 to 1000
  • Jobs will require wages per minute in order for them to continue working, 50 gold coins for foragers and foresters, 200 gold coins for miners, 500 gold coins for blacksmiths
  • New farms system: Plant either Pumpkins, Mushrooms, Cabbages or Berries based on the fertilities present on the island. Different islands will have different fertilities, meaning that you cannot plant everything on the same island.
  • Map redesign to look more like Islands.
  • New transportation system: You can send a Caravan to transport goods from one stockpile to another.
  • Maximum number of towns changed from 2 to 5.
  • Building parts will be restricted by town status as follows:
  1.     Beer Barrel and Bar: Small Village
  2.     Chess Table, Rug, Fireplace: Small Town
  3.     Stone buildings parts, Chandelier and Chain, Couch, Throne, Unlock ability to buy expensive Matchlocks from the Merchant: Fort
  • Total levels of people required to rank up, food choices required, total max population gained, exp boost, villager migration rate as follows:
  1.     New Settlement: 0, Berries, 5, 0%, 2 villagers per caravan
  2.     Settlement: 100, Berries, 5, 2%, 2 villagers per caravan
  3.     Small Village: 200, Cabbages, Berries,  10, 4%, 3 villagers per caravan
  4.     Village: 300, Cabbages, Berries,  10, 6%, 3 villagers per caravan
  5.     Large Village: 400, Cabbages, Berries,  15, 8%, 3 villagers per caravan 
  6.     Small Town: 500, Mushrooms, Cabbages, Berries,  20, 10%, 4 villagers per caravan
  7.     Town: 600, Mushrooms, Cabbages, Berries,  20, 12%, 4 villagers per caravan
  8.     Large Town: 700, Mushrooms, Cabbages, Berries,  20, 14%, 4 villagers per caravan
  9.     Fort: 800, Mushrooms, Cabbages, Berries,  20, 16%, 5 villagers per caravan
  10.     Stronghold: 900, Pumpkins, Mushrooms, Cabbages, Berries,  25, 18%, 5 villagers per caravan
  11.     Fortress: 1000, Pumpkins, Mushrooms, Cabbages, Berries,  25, 20%, 5 villagers per caravan
  12.     Castle: 1200, Pumpkins, Mushrooms, Cabbages, Berries,  25, 25%, 5 villagers per caravan
  13.     City: 1500, Pumpkins, Mushrooms, Cabbages, Berries,  30, 30%, 5 villagers per caravan
  • Having villagers staying at your place will provide rental income
  1.     10 gold coins per minute (GPM) at the stockpile per Villager present
  2.     Additional 30 GPM if people are eating berries
  3.     Additional 50 GPM if people are eating cabbages
  4.     Additional 70 GPM if people are eating mushrooms
  5.     Additional 100 GPM if people are eating pumpkins
  • Castle Curators (specially appointed players and ourselves) will go around giving your castle towns a 1-5 Rating depending on our own criteria if they are playing the game. These ratings will give your people an exp boost:
  1.     1 Rating Dreary Basic platform: living 5% exp boost
  2.     2 Rating Ordinary In-between: 10% exp boost
  3.     3 Rating Curious Utilitarian: like those prison block style castles 15% exp boost
  4.     4 Rating Beautiful In-between: 20% exp boost
  5.     5 Rating Grand Has purposely furnished buildings: 30% exp boost

Server and save data will be wiped.
